ALthought the physical locations of your diagram will result in the pins being in the right place, I believe youve incorrectly called out the pin numbers. | INCORRECT | While the contact positions and signal descriptions seem to correspond (ie. seem correct), the pin numbering is definitely incorrect! As the second report here states, only pins 1 to 3 are numbered correctly. Looking up one of the two quoted references (http://www.physic.ut.ee/~kalev/smartcar.txt) in the Internet Archive confirms the numbering is in error. Also, looking up the SIM interface information for Wavecom GSM/GPRS modules shows that 1=Vcc, 2=Rst, 3=Clk, 5=GND, 7=I/O. Contact positions 4 and 8 are next to each other (not as shown!) and, for 6 contact SIM holders with 8 pins, these pins are used to provide a SIM-Present switch. | APPROVED | ||
