| INCORRECT | This pinout is correct, however, if you are looking for a reference to make a gigabit ethernet cable, it should be pointed out that this pinout is identical to 100BaseT, and that existing 100mb patch cables/guides will work. I was under the mistaken belief that gigabit had its own wiring scheme, and in a rush, this page appeared to read A- A+ B- B+ C- C+ D- D+, from top to bottom, but on closer inspection[ and after my cable failed], I see I was incorrect. I am simply writing to encourage someone to clarify the page or at least distinguish the pairs better. | APPROVED | ||
