| CORRECT | Confirmed via resistance testing and also via attempting charge a RAZR via a normal USB A - USB mini cable from a USB solar panel with negative results. Creating a cable from Motorolas original wall chargers USB mini connector and a regular USB A cable allows it to charge from a USB solar panel. | APPROVED | ||
| CORRECT | Confirmed working with 220k resistor. D- can be connected before or after the resistor without any negative effect. | APPROVED | ||
| CORRECT | I opened the AC charger while soldering a broken wire. I was able to verify the connections (pin1: +5VDC, pin4: GND ), and the value of the resistor (200K) between pin4 and pinX. After soldering the broken wire, I connected to the cell phone and started recharging without any problems. I also took some pics to save with the documentation. | APPROVED | ||

| INCORRECT | The directions are mostly correct. I found that pin 3 did need to be connected to x and 2 and the wire absolutely needed to be continuous to both ends of the cable. You can see a picture of the completed circut on the breadboard I used at the link below. Ill probably solder it all into a compact cable. I tried to diagram it in text also, but I worry that it will get formated strange when I hit submit. phoneMini-USB-B----- | APPROVED | ||
| INCORRECT | The new moto chargers (p/n: SPN5185B) came with Moto Q/Q9/V195 have pin 2 and pin 3 shorted together, pin x and pin 5 has 200K Ohm resistor across. Pin 2 and pin x are **NOT** shorted. | APPROVED | ||
